Rehab-based Chiropractic Care for Long-term Results

Orthopedic and Neurological Examinations for Every New Patient

Orthopedic and Neurological Examinations for Every New Patient

Orthopedic and Neurological Examinations for Every New Patient

Our treatment plans are implemented only after comprehensive orthopedic and neurological exams to make sure that you are a proper candidate for what we offer in our clinic. We don't just adjust patients and see if it helps. We take pride in our thorough exams, and are happy to provide x-ray and MRI referrals when necessary. We also will not hesitate to provide appropriate referrals to other providers when a patient is found to not be a proper candidate for our services.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic manipulative therapy (CMT) is a great tool for decreasing pain and getting patients back to their activities of daily living. We take pride in a diversified approach to CMT, with an emphasis on being specific to individual joint segments where motion restrictions are palpated. Adjustments of the spine, ribs, and extremities are offered at our clinic when deemed appropriate by our doctors.

Myofascial Release Technique

Rehabilitative Exercise with ARPwave Therapy

Myofascial release technique (MRT) is a "pin and stretch" approach to massage/soft tissue therapy. Lymphatic massage and effleurage also have their place in our clinic, but MRT is specific for breaking up scar tissue adhesions within muscle fibers. These adhesions may build up over time from past injuries and/or overuse, and MRT provides relief by restoring proper glide of muscle fibers during contraction and relaxation.

At our clinic, we despise the idea of giving a patient a list of exercises to try on a piece of paper and telling them "good luck." Our 60 min appointments are full 1-on-1 sessions with one of our two doctors. No interns or aids who aren't quite sure about what they are doing. We want to break down every movement prescribed to you from its foundation so proper mechanics are restored. ARPwave (Accelerated Recovery Performance) is used frequently in our rehab programs and will challenge even the highest level of athletes. ARPwave uses electrical stimulation that mimics the body's nervous system to increase muscular contraction and promote blood flow. ARPwave is especially useful in post-op cases to prevent muscle atrophy during immobilization phases while sutures are still healing.

Normatec Recovery

Normatec Recovery

Normatec recovery uses automated inflatable cuffs to provide cycles of intermittent compression to the muscles of the extremities. These compression cycles promote recovery to the arms and legs by increasing blood flow back to the areas and decreasing chronic inflammation. Normatec recovery sessions are offered in our zero gravity recliner chair at the patient's request.
